Performance Engine & Transmission Mounts
Stock rubber mounts allow significant engine movement under load, which causes wheel hop, drivetrain shock, lost throttle response, and inconsistent launches. Performance mounts — polyurethane, billet, or fluid-filled — lock the powertrain down for cleaner power transfer at the cost of some added NVH.

Polyurethane Durometer — What to Know
60A is a daily-driver upgrade — minor NVH increase, noticeable feel improvement. 70A–75A is the sweet spot for weekend track and aggressive street — holds the motor tight without rattling the cabin. 85A+ is race-only — transmits significant vibration but eliminates engine movement. Solid mounts and chassis braces magnify both effects.
