Performance Headers & Exhaust Manifolds
The header is where exhaust gases first leave the engine — the right primary diameter, length, collector design and merge angle releases trapped power and improves throttle response. SP Engineering carries equal-length 4-1, 4-2-1 and tri-Y headers for naturally aspirated builds, plus T3/T4, V-band and bottom-mount turbo manifolds.

Headers vs Turbo Manifolds — Material Matters
NA headers want equal-length primaries (4-1 or 4-2-1) in 304 stainless for low-RPM torque and high-RPM peak power. Turbo manifolds want short, equal-length runners merging into a properly sized collector — stainless 304/321 for street, Inconel for high-EGT race builds. Cast iron manifolds are durable but heat-soak; tubular stainless is the upgrade path.
