Performance Brake Rotors & Discs
Rotors are the thermal reservoir that absorbs the heat from your pads. Quality, mass and metallurgy determine how repeatedly you can stop hard before fade. SP Engineering carries the broadest selection of OE-replacement, slotted, drilled, and 2-piece floating rotors in the industry.

Slotted vs Drilled vs Plain
Plain (smooth-face) rotors are best for high-heat track use — maximum thermal mass and minimal crack risk. Slotted (DBA T3, EBC USR) sweep pad gases and dust for consistent bite — ideal for spirited street + occasional track. Drilled rotors look great and bed pads in fast on street, but are crack-prone at sustained track temps — avoid for endurance use. 2-piece floating rotors (StopTech AeroRotor, DBA 5000) reduce unsprung weight and allow the disc to expand without warping.
